In the context of providing pet sitting services, we process certain personal data necessary for the organization and optimal delivery of the services. When you use our services, we may collect and use information such as your name and last name, contact details, phone number, email address, the pet you own, the address where the services will be provided, as well as any other relevant details you provide regarding pet care or access to the location. In certain situations, we may process information about your schedule or data necessary for the proper performance of the contracted services. Without providing this data, we will not be able to adequately provide pet sitting services.
The primary purpose of processing this data is to conclude and execute the service contract, organize visits, communicate with you during the collaboration, ensuring the animal’s safety, as well as managing any requests, complaints, or unforeseen situations that arise during the provision of services. We may also use the data to fulfill our legal obligations, including those related to tax or accounting matters (e.g., issuing a tax invoice).
The legal grounds for this processing are primarily the performance of the contract entered into with you and the steps necessary prior to its conclusion, as well as compliance with applicable legal obligations.
We store your personal data only for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes, but no longer than 5 years from the termination of the contract or your last interaction with us. Please note that in certain expressly regulated situations, we store the data for the period required by law.

Thus, we may disclose personal data to IT service providers, financial and banking service providers (for making payments and processing transactions), as well as to legal and accounting service providers in order to comply with legal obligations.
We may also transfer your personal data to public authorities (such as tax authorities, regulatory and supervisory bodies) when we are legally required to provide it or when this is necessary to defend our legitimate rights.
In all cases, we ensure that the transfer of your personal data is carried out in accordance with applicable law, based on appropriate technical and organizational measures, and only if the recipients of the data guarantee its protection in accordance with the standards set forth in Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
The transfer of personal data to a third country may take place only if the country to which the transfer is intended ensures an adequate level of protection. The transfer of data to a country whose legislation does not provide a level of protection at least equal to that offered by the GDPR is possible only if there are sufficient safeguards regarding the protection of the data subjects. These safeguards will be established by us through contracts entered into with the suppliers/service providers to whom your personal data will be transferred. Whenever we transfer your personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA), we will ensure that a similar level of protection exists through one of the following data protection mechanisms provided by the GDPR.
Since we use WhatsApp to communicate with you, we carry out the following international data transfer.
