Accommodation procedures and regulations


Conditions for dog boarding:


1. The dog must have a health card with all vaccinations and deworming treatments within their validity period:
• monovalent + polyvalent + rabies + KC vaccine (kennel cough)
• up-to-date internal deworming
• external deworming or repellent collar (please do not neglect these)
The minimum age accepted is 4 months, in order to be on schedule with the complete vaccination schedule.

2. The dog must be friendly and sociable, or at least tolerate other dogs. For safety reasons, we cannot accept dogs with aggressive tendencies. For these dogs, we recommend a classic pet hotel for everyone's safety. If there is any tension during the stay, we can, of course, separate the dog in question.

3. We accept dogs of breeds considered dangerous/their crossbreeds or with strong potential, only in single suits (separate room, not shared), if this is available during the reserved period, and the rate is for individual boarding and only if the dog does not have aggressive tendencies. Examples of breeds include, but are not limited to: Bull Terrier, Pitbull, American Staffordshire, Belgian Shepherd, German Shepherd, Rottweiler, Doberman, Akita Inu, etc.

4. We recommend that all adult dogs over 1 year of age be neutered, in accordance with the law. The only exceptions are dogs with pedigrees and breeding rights, dogs that compete in competitions, or dogs that cannot undergo anesthesia/surgery for medical reasons. We can accept a maximum of one unneutered male dog at a time.
We reserve the right to refuse dogs that do not comply with the law in force and will offer you another alternative, for all of our sake.

5. We do not accept females in heat or within 15 days before/after the heat period under any circumstances. Please do not insist, we think of other dogs too and we would like to avoid incidents.

6. When booking, please inform us of the sexual status of the dog (spayed, unneutered, chemically neutered, etc.).

Reservation procedure

1. To make a reservation, please send us a message on WhatsApp with the following details: the dog's name and the exact period. New customers must mention the breed, age, size, and behavior of the dog, and whether it is a neutered male or not. We will confirm your reservation in writing if we have availability during the mentioned period.

2. The drop-off/pick-up time is 7-11 a.m. or 5-9 p.m. Please let us know in advance what time you will be arriving with or after your dog. 10 a.m. is 10:30 a.m. at the latest, not 2 p.m. Please treat this as an appointment, otherwise we will consider it lack of respect.

3. If you drop off your dog after 7 p.m., we will only charge for the next day (with the condition that dog walking is not required).

4. If you pick up your dog before 10 a.m., that day will not be charged.

5. If you wish, you can view the "Photo Gallery" page for more pictures, or you can visit us before booking, by appointment, we will limit the visit to 10-15 minutes, so as not to disturb the group of dogs staying at that time. This is also our private residence, so we will only disclose the location in a private message. We also post on social media, you can find pictures on Facebook or Instagram.

*The owner understands that his/her pet is subject to photoshooting and some pictures taken by the pet-sitter can/will be published on social media and/or website. All rights reserved.

6. Places are limited, so please make your reservation in advance, as we focus on quality, not quantity. During the holidays (Christmas, New Year's Eve, Easter), we require a 50% deposit by bank transfer, which is non-refundable in case of cancellation.

Cancellation policy

1. In case of cancellation, please send us a message on WhatsApp with the period you are canceling (if you have multiple periods booked).

2. If you shorten the accommodation period after the dog has arrived at our facility, you will pay for the entire reserved period.

3. If you extend the accommodation period, this is possible, and at the end of the period we will recalculate the final rate.

Payment for services and discounts

For home visits, payment for services is made at the beginning of the period, by bank transfer.

For dog boarding or transport, payment for services is made at the end of the period, when the dog is handed over, by the means provided by the pet sitter (if a deposit has been left, the deposit will be deducted from the total amount).

For emergency bookings, less than 24 hours in advance, an extra fee of 100 lei/period will be charged.

For cancellations less than 24 hours in advance, a cancellation fee of 100 lei will be charged, and for repeated cancellations, we reserve the right to refuse future requests.

In the case of a second dog from the same family, we offer a 25% discount for the second dog.

For stays longer than 14 days, you will receive a gift of your choice, please inform us at the beginning of the stay:
• Free transportation (both ways)
• Free mini grooming (wash + dry)

For stays of 30 days or more, you will receive a 10% discount of the final price.

Your dog's luggage

This must include:
• Health card
• Enough food (dry/wet/raw) for the entire period
• Medication, if applicable (drops, pills, etc.)

Optionally, you can bring:
• Bed or blanket
• Clothes
• Toys
• Rules and restrictions (allergies, any advice or personalized needs)

*We do not guarantee that toys, beds, or blankets will remain intact and undamaged during the stay, so please bring them at your own risk.

Notices, emergencies, accidents, damage, natural disasters

1. Pet Care by Georgy does not assume responsibility for any existing illnesses of the dog (e.g., hydrometer, hernia, epilepsy, etc.).

2. Pet Care by Georgy is not responsible for any minor health problems that may arise during or after the stay due to stress or separation anxiety (gastro-intestinal disorders, dermatitis, allergies, conjunctivitis, etc.), but will notify the owner and attempt to treat the problem locally. If this is not possible, the veterinarian will be contacted at the owner's expense.

3. In case of minor accidents caused by excessive play or fights (bruises, scratches, etc.), we are equipped and have specialized training to treat the area locally, or we collaborate with our veterinarian, at the expense of Pet Care by Georgy.

4. In case of major accidents (broken limbs, dislocations, etc.), Pet Care by Georgy will urgently notify the owner and transport the dog to the veterinarian, and the expenses will be borne entirely by the owner.

5. In case of damage to the boarding facility, the owner will be notified and will bear the full cost of the damage.

6. In the days following their stay, the dog will be physically and mentally exhausted, so please do not panic. Some dogs suffer from muscle fever, including in their tails (yes, it is possible), so please allow them 2-3 days to recover. However, if they are apathetic and lethargic, please take them to a veterinarian for a consultation. Doggies get plenty of relaxation, rest, and sleep, but some dogs are very enthusiastic and overexert themselves physically while playing, which is why they are exhausted when they get home.

7. As a veterinary technician, we have the necessary knowledge to identify medical emergencies and can transport the dog to a veterinary clinic (either to the vet we work with, the owner's preferred veterinarian, or the nearest clinic/emergency room). The owner will be notified immediately, and if they do not respond, we will try to make decisions based on the severity of the situation. The owner will bear the veterinary expenses, as well as the transportation to the vet.

8. In the event of natural disasters, we will do our best to ensure that all dogs staying with us are safe and will notify the owner.

*By confirming the reservation in writing, the owner implicitly accepts the above rules.
